The Expo is located on the lower level of the Saint Paul RiverCentre at 175 West Kellogg Blvd St. Paul, MN 55102.
You will need your race number (emailed the week of September 29) and a photo ID to pick up your packet at the Health & Fitness Expo. The Help Desk located in the packet pickup area is staffed by individuals available to help you with registration-related issues. There are also two “Race Number Look Up” tables located near the packet pick up entrance.

Participants may place their gear and other items in the clear, plastic race bag provided at packet pick up. Gear check can only be dropped off at the State Capitol Grounds in the clear, plastic bag given at packet pick up. Items in other bags will not be accepted.
Marathon:

Participants may place their gear and other items in the clear, plastic race bag provided at packet pick up. Gear check can only be dropped off at the Marathon start line in the clear, plastic bag given at packet pick up. Items in other bags will not be accepted. Please be mindful to not overstuff your bag and do not leave valuable items (phone, car keys, etc.) in your gear check bag.

Twin Cities In Motion will have free participant buses for Marathon participants, Half Marathon participants, and 10 Mile participants, including rides to the start line from St. Paul (exact locations TBD) and rides from the finish line returning back to the start line area in Minneapolis and to downtown St. Paul. Please check back later for more information on TCM buses!
All Marathon Weekend participants will also have free access to Metro Transit bus and light rail Saturday, October 4, and Sunday, October 5. All you need is to show your bib to ride free on race day!
We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation's leading parking reservations app! To reserve your parking spot for the Twin Cities Marathon Start Line, visit the SpotHero Parking Page.
Parking for Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend participants and spectators is available the Centennial Parking Ramp located just east of Cedar Street.
- Parking is available in Orange, Green, Blue and Purple ramps at no charge to participants and spectators.
- Be aware of height restrictions at the Green, Blue and Purple ramps (6'4" maximum height).
- There are no height restrictions at the Orange Ramp.
- Please be aware of event related road closures in the area and adhere to 'No Parking' signs.
- Vehicles violating city regulations will be ticketed and vehicles on the course will be towed.
There is also free parking available on a first come, first served basis at St. Paul College lots.
- Access to the lots are available off Concordia Ave or Marshall Ave via Dayton Ave to Louis St.- The Marion St. exit from eastbound 94 is closed both Saturday and Sunday before and during Marathon Weekend events.
- To reach the St. Paul College lots from I-94, use the Dale St exit.
Please note: TCM does not operate these lots and are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property.
TC 5K/10K:
- 10K finishers are expected to complete the course at a pace of 16-minutes-per-mile or faster.
- 5K finishers are expected to complete the course at a pace of 25-minutes-per-mile or faster.
Marathon:
Roads will be closed, and course services will be provided for all participants able to finish the marathon in six hours and 30 minutes from the time the start line closes. Finishing the marathon by 2:50 P.M. generally means maintaining an average pace of 14:52 per mile.
After this time no course services including medical, fluid stations or traffic control are available and participants who fall behind this pace. At this time participants will be asked to move to the sidewalk or board the sweep bus which follows the course at the cut-off pace.
While we strive our hardest to provide the full experience to all participants, those who choose to continue on the sidewalk and arrive to the finish after 2:50 PM may not receive full finishers’ amenities including medal, photos, and a listing in the official results.

Age group awards will be mailed to participants after the event for categories of men, women and non-binary athletes placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-24, and continue in five-year increments until the 80+ age group. Athletes registered under “prefer not to disclose” for gender are not eligible for age group awards.

Complimentary entries to next years event will be awarded to the top 3 overall men, women, and non-binary athletes not in the Invited Professional Field for the marathon and 10 mile. The alternative standard for a comped entry into the marathon or 10 mile is to have run an 85%+ age-graded performance in the last two years (there are only a limited number of these available).
