26.2: A Marathon Poster Show
26.2: A Marathon Poster Show, presented by Visit Saint Paul, features limited-edition posters created by local artists inspired by the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America®. Artists, designers, illustrators, are invited to create a piece inspired by the beauty and energy of the marathon: the sights, sounds, highlights, and landmarks that capture the spirit of the marathon and the Twin Cities community.
Twin Cities In Motion is proud to receive a 2026 Cultural STAR grant from the City of Saint Paul! With support from this grant, every artist selected for this year's 26.2: A Marathon Poster Show will receive a $300 stipend.
50% of profits from each poster sale will go to TCM's non-profit mission, including the TC Kids Run Free program, with the other 50% going directly to artist.
The Call for Artists has closed, and the final artist roster will be announced soon!
2026 Event Details
New in 2026, 26.2: A Marathon Poster Show will be held at the Avalon in the heart of downtown Saint Paul. The poster show will take place on Thursday, September 24th, from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. All are welcome!
Join us to celebrate local artists, the running community, and the spirit of the Twin Cities. There will be food available to attendees, as well as a cash bar offering refreshments.
