Senior Partnerships Sales Manager Overview:
This key position focuses on managing event partnerships, creating memorable experiences, and developing deep relationships, both internally and externally, to support our mission. This role combines strategic sales leadership with hands-on event management, driving revenue while creating meaningful experiences for both secured partners and participants. This role reports to the Development Director.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Partnership Sales & Management

Full cycle sales ownership for partnership sales. Identify, cultivate, and close corporate sponsors by networking and researching prospects
-
Develop custom partnership proposals integrating event sponsorships, community programs, activations, digital visibility, and employee engagement
-
Develop effective strategies to secure partnerships, achieve specific financial and in-kind goals
-
Track all activity in CRM: lead source, stage, probability, forecast value
-
Participate in bi-weekly pipeline reviews and quarterly goal setting with Development Director
-
Create partnership proposals and respond to sponsorship requests; continuously improve materials
-
Ensure smooth handoff to Partnership Coordinator for partnership activations and entitlements
-
Exceed sponsor expectations in terms of service, benefits and overall value
-
Manage Marathon Weekend photography partnership and other similar relationships
-
Fully manage the Health & Fitness Expo sales process and customer service
Events
-
Lead strategy, planning, and execution of all TCM pre & post-race festivals, 27th Mile, expos, and other community program experience opportunities.

Manage marquee events experiences including:

Health & Fitness Expo (45,000 attendees)

Develop and launch annual spring Gear-Up Expo

Saturday & Sunday Beer Garden operations

Sunday VIP Program & Event Experience (800 guests)

Opening Ceremony Marathon Weekend Kick-Off event
-
Oversee experience ideation, layout creation, crowd flow management, logistics, and partner/vendor activations

Create, manage, and track event revenue and expense budgets
-
Collaborate with Race Operations, Marketing, Registration, and Volunteer teams to optimize experiences
-
Provide race-day hands-on support and on-site direction for volunteers, partners, and vendors
-
Support TCM Events & Services committee, helping guide strategy, budgets, and planning
-
Provide race day volunteer direction as it relates to post-race festivals and partnerships
-
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
-
Minimum 7+ years of sales experience in corporate partnerships, sponsorships, or related B2B sales; nonprofit fundraising or mission-based partnership development strongly preferred
-
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding individual revenue targets with strength in building lasting client relationships and delivering financial results
-
Highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit; ability to take ownership, work independently, and thrive in a fast-paced, continually changing environment

Strong event management and operations experience across multiple events and timelines; experience with community-focused or mission-driven events a plus

Strong collaboration skills with ability to manage laterally and develop working relationships with diverse stakeholders

Creativity and innovation with passion for making events and programs compelling for participants and partners

Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills

Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM/database management (Salesforce or similar) for pipeline tracking and revenue reporting

Commitment to support all TCM’s calendar of events

Serve as a knowledgeable TCM Ambassador at events, in the community, and through requested outreach

Ability to regularly lift weights for events up to 25 lbs. and occasionally weights up to 40 lbs., travel around the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, and attend evening and weekend meetings and events
Reports to: Development Director
Status: Full-Time, exempt, hybrid work environment with mandatory in-office days/weeks
Salary Range: $73,000-$76,000 plus performance bonus

Position Summary
The Social Media & Digital Engagement Manager leads the development and execution of TCM’s socials, website, event app and ambassador program. Through these channels, TCM ensures people feel connected, inspired to act and supported on their journey to get in motion.
This role drives engagement, registration growth, and mission impact by managing TCM’s digital communication platforms—from strategy and planning to distribution and performance optimization.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, creative, hands-on content creator who balances storytelling, community connection and analytics.
Key Responsibilities
Socials Strategy & Execution

Develop and execute a comprehensive socials content strategy aligned with TCM’s brand, mission and business objectives

Manage, execute and adapt the annual socials calendar to ensure alignment across campaigns, programs and event cycles based on data-driven analytics

Define and track KPIs measuring content effectiveness, audience growth, and registration conversion. Use insights to refine strategies and recommend improvements

Create a wide variety of creative social content that drives engagement, builds brand loyalty and connects community

Provide quick and high-quality customer service via TCM’s socials

Stay current on trends in digital storytelling, socials, AI, and nonprofit storytelling
Website Content & Event App Management

Generate and manage high-quality, SEO/GEO-optimized website and app content
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information on digital platforms
-
Manage a year-round content schedule for website and app updates and content development

Define and track KPIs measuring content effectiveness, engagement and audience funnels
Ambassador Program

Foster and provide a collaborative environment for Ambassadors to promote and build TCM’s brand equity across their networks

Oversee selecting Ambassadors annually, defining role requirements and determining KPIs for program success
General

Manage and oversee TCM’s part-time Social Media & Marketing Intern, including role responsibilities, projects and workflow. Foster a collaborative learning environment

Manage content-related budgets, vendors and contractors

Plan and oversee all photographer and videographer related deliverables

Work with other departments to execute partnership entitlements across owned platforms

Work flexible, event-based hours (including evenings and weekends) as needed

Qualifications
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Digital Marketing, Social Media or related field

3+ years of experience in content marketing, digital media, website management and/or social media

Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools, including tools like Canva, Hootsuite and Sprout Social

Proficiency in WIX back-end website administrative interface and website management tools like Google Analytics

Proven success developing and executing social media and website content strategies

Strong writing, editing, and messaging skills

Excellent organizational and project management skills

The Warehouse and Event Logistics Manager serves as part of the high caliber Twin Cities In Motion (TCM) team, which has planned and executed the region’s premier running events since 1982. Its mission is simple - ignite everyone’s inner athlete. As a member of the TCM Events Team, you will drive the warehouse and logistical operations of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend and our year-round events.
TCM is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit that organizes six races with 17 distances throughout the year, including the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, to provide opportunities for people of all ages, abilities, and experiences to live an active, healthy lifestyle. Collectively, TCM and its charity partners that fundraise at TCM events give back more than $1.4 million annually to a variety of causes.
Maturity, strong communication, organization, and leadership skills are necessary for the Warehouse and Event Logistics Manager position, as is the ability to operate and make decisions in a fast-paced environment. The position reports to the Director of Event Operations and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Main Responsibilities

Coordinate TCM warehouse operations:
-
Direct daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching products to ensure a smooth workflow for all TCM departments.

Maintain accurate inventory and stock levels of all TCM event supplies and equipment.
-
Inspect, clean and maintain event-specific supplies and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition prior to each event.

Assure safe warehouse operations
-
Determine and implement warehouse storage layouts to maximize capacity and efficiency for both standard stock and bulky event equipment.
-
Manage assigned vendors and source necessary equipment and vehicles.
-
Provide data and assist orders for participant services (e.g., medals, shirts, operational items).
-
Create equipment and supplies lists and fulfill equipment needs (e.g., procurement and distribution).
-
Manage event signage, including storage, inventory, condition assessment, and organizing specialized transport to prevent damage.
-
Oversee the picking, packing, and staging of all supplies and equipment required for each event, ensuring 100% order accuracy

Truck & Event Logistics
-
Route Planning: Coordinate all inbound and outbound trucking activities, including scheduling all equipment truck timelines and routes
-
Truck Loading: Manage the loading and unloading of all event equipment trucks
-
Driver Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for equipment truck drivers in transit to provide updates on delivery statuses or routing changes.
-
Act as point person for our Motion Center Partner warehouse support, including, but not limited to receiving shipments, warehouse organization and assisting partners around their event and key event timeframes.

Manage Logistics volunteer committee for MTCM weekend and other TCM events as assigned by Director of Event Operations

Manage Signage & Supplies volunteer committee for MTCM weekend and other TCM events as assigned by Director of Event Operations
-
Manage assigned vendors and availability of needed assets, including submitting RFPs, RFQs and assessment of new vendors when needed
-
Assist in Programming Room operations, specifically the set up and tear down of the space for all TCM events, and knowledge of Motion Partners' use of the space.

Collaborate with other individuals or departments to ensure complete and accurate details, including integration of sponsors and partners, into all TCM events and operational plans
-
Provide event management support for all TCM events, including documentation updating, permitting, and leading an assigned area on race day.

Assist TCM Events department for budgeting, and compliance processes assigned.
Qualifications

Minimum of 3–5 years in warehouse management, preferably with a focus on event or logistics services.

Minimum 2-4 year's event management experience is preferred.

Proven ability to work with diverse peers, community and volunteer groups

Effective leader, able to build consensus among all constituencies

Skillful communicator able to effectively interact with a diverse group of personalities

Strong interpersonal, organizational and planning skills

Able to handle a busy, fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with attention to detail and ability to maintain a calm presence during challenging situations

Ability to regularly lift weights for events up to 25 lbs. and occasionally weights up to 40 lbs.

A valid driver’s license is required.

Comfortable driving box trucks (no CDL required)

Forklift certification a plus, willingness to become forklift certified a must

Experience with non-profits and volunteerism a plus

Available to work non-traditional business hours during all events and to attend evening and morning meetings

Salary: $60,000-65,000 per year
