2024 Race Details

  • Below is the registration pricing for the 2024 Hot Dash 10K. Tier 1 and Tier 2 will close as blocks are filled. Price tier increases for tiers 3-7 are date-based. All registration tiers, including virtual, are subject to availability. Register early to guarantee your spot and shirt size!
      
    Virtual registration is $39. There are no price increases in the virtual event.   

     

    First 100

    • 1st - 100th registrant: $45

    Next 100

    • ​101st - 200th registrant: $49 

    Tier 3

    • 201st registrant - Thursday, January 18th: $54  

    Tier 4

    • Friday, January 19th - Thursday, February 8th: $59  

    Tier 5

    • Friday, February. 9th - Thursday, March 14th: $64 

    Tier 6

    • Friday, March 15th - Wednesday, March 20th: $69

    Tier 7

    • Thursday, March 21st - Saturday, March 23rd: $70 

      • Race Day registration closes 10 minutes prior to race start. ​

  • The Riverplace Municipal parking ramp (30 2nd St SE, Minneapolis, MN 55414) is two blocks  from the start area and will charge $2 per hour to park. 

     

    Plentiful street parking is also available, in addition to various parking ramps in the area:

  • Participants in the virtual 10K will be able to submit results  March 1 – December 31, 2023. Submit your results here.

    Gear will be mailed to the shipping address provided at the time of registration by Friday, April 5, 2023. Any changes to your address must be sent to [email protected] prior to Friday, February 16, 2023. Additional charges or delays in shipping may apply for incorrect addresses. 

  • Participants may place their gear and other items in the clear, plastic race bag provided at gear check. Race-day gear check will be marked with a flag and located near Packet Pick Up and the Finish Line.

     

    Please take note of the following details related to this free, race-day service:   

    • Personal bags will not be accepted   

    • Clear, plastic bags will be available on race day  

    • Do NOT leave bags unattended on race day at any time   

    • Affix the gear check tag from race bib to the plastic bag using the tie provided at the gear check drop zone   

    • Tie bags securely shut before dropping at the gear check drop zone   

    • Do not check valuables, Twin Cities In Motion is not responsible for lost or stolen items   

    • Gear check opens at 7:30 a.m.   

    • Gear check closes at 11:45 a.m.   

    • We discourage runners and spectators from carrying non-transparent bags at the event at any time 

  • Age group awards will be available after participants finish for categories of men, women and non-binary athletes placing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in their age group. Age groups include 8 & under, 9-13, 14-18, 19-24, and continue in five-year increments until the 80+ age group. Athletes registered under “prefer not to disclose” for gender are not eligible for age group awards. 

     

    Complimentary entries to next years event will be awarded to the top 3 overall men, women, and non-binary athletes in the Hot Dash 10K. Codes to register for the event will be sent out in December 2024. The alternative standard for a comped entry into the Hot Dash 10K is to have run an 85%+ age-graded performance in the last two years (there are only a limited number of these available).   • Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.
