More Running

Tackling back-to-back races is a bold accomplishment and miles of memories!

Automatic 10 Mile

Bypass the drawing and guarantee your entry into Minnesota's most popular fall race.

Just like the Minnesota state bird, the common loon, a TC Loony runner is strong, active, agile and distinctive! These runners are hardly common, though - they challenge themselves to run three races in one weekend. The TC Loony Challenge includes the three Twin Cities In Motion events during the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend - totaling 19.3 miles.

Series Celebration

As a TC Loony Challenge participant, you'll receive access into an exclusive, heated tent on Sunday to celebrate your weekend. Meet fellow series participants, fill up on hot coffee, a catered meal and dessert, and pick up your 2020 series swag! Show your bib for tent access.

Questions?

When should I register?

Registration for 2020 events will open March 3 for Rewards In Motion (RIM) members and open to the general public on March 5.

Event prices increase when blocks of entries are filled, not by a date on the calendar. Register early; we expect demand for the early block prices to be strong and blocks can fill without notice. Registration closes on September 29, 2020 at 6:00 p.m. or once race capacity has been reached.

A great way to make sure you never miss the best price on an event is to enroll in our free Rewards In Motion program. Rewards In Motion members will ALWAYS receive access to the lowest price block prior to public registration opening.

How can I confirm my registration?

Once registration is open in March 2020: Use the online   to verify entry to the 2020 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend.

What is included with entry?

The TC Loony Challenge includes individual entry for each event in the series, an additional piece of swag which will be a bag, and an extra finisher medal at the conclusion of the series. The 5K and 10K entries include an assigned race number for two events, participant gift (same shirt and medal gifted at 5K and 10K events), and all general participant amenities. The 10 Mile entry will include a unique race bib, additional participant shirt and finisher medal. Some races include the option to upgrade the general entry for an additional cost. Registrants will receive communication via email with the details for each individual event the week of the event. Finisher medals for each race are available to finishers at the event, and for the series after the final finish line.

Will there be prizes and awards?

The top 3 men and women who complete the TC Loony Challenge will be awarded a finisher certificate with his or her place and time! Due to the complexity of the series, age group awards will not be awarded.
