For the Media
Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Media Information
Welcome to the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend media page.
On Sunday, October 4, the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America® will host the USATF Master Marathon Championships for the 25th straight year, while the Medtronic TC 10 Mile will host the USATF Men's and Women's 10 Mile Championships. In all, some 30,000 runners are expected to participate in Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend events -- including the TC 10K and TC 5K, presented by Fredrikson & Byron, and the Medtronic TC Family Events which take place on Saturday, October 3.
In mid-September, we'll post an electronic version of the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend Media Guide on this page. Shortly afterward, we'll publish Media Guide supplements covering event historical and statistical information and professional athlete biographies. The 2014 versions of those resources are available below in the meantime. Find Twin Cities In Motion press releases archived on the right sidebar link.
Media credentials applications will be sent in early September to media who have covered the event previously. Requests for credentials are welcome. Contact Charlie Mahler, TCM Media & Communications Manager, for more information at 651-289-7708 or Charlie@tcmevents.org.
Thank you for your interest in our event!
