No, you may walk or run at any time during the race. Women Run the Cities 10K participants must, however, be able to maintain a 20-minute-per-mile pace throughout the race due to course limits.

Are men/boys allowed to participate?

The spirit of the event is it's a woman's empowerment race.  All kids under the age of 18 are welcome to run any distance for free as part of the Kids Run Free program. We also encourage them to cheer or volunteer in order to support their loved one and the event as an alternative option, too.

Can I volunteer for the event?

Yes! We're looking for people available to volunteer at the event on race day. Help us set up the event, serve participants on course, manage logistics, and more. Click here.
