Parking Information

Be sure to allow plenty of time (45 minutes to an hour) between arrival and start time to walk to the packet pick up area, use toilets, check your gear, and prepare for the event.

  • FREE RIDES on Metro Transit buses and METRO lines for participants from 5 a.m.-1 p.m.! Must present printed coupon. The festival area is an approximate 6-minute-walk (.3 miles) from the 50th St - Minnehaha Station via the Metro Transit Blue Line.
  • We strongly encourage carpooling, biking or public transportation.
  • There are a number of area pay lots available; pay close attention to no parking signs, designated parking hours and meter details.
Spectators

Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.

Official Charity Team

For more than 20 years, The Link has provided support to at-risk youth in the Twin Cities. Today, their programs reach out to youth and families when truancy, homelessness, or involvement in the juvenile legal system is putting youth at risk of not reaching their fullest potential. By providing case management services to youth who are truant, homeless or in trouble with the law, The Link is building assets for at-risk youth and young adults to succeed in life. The Link currently serves over 3,300 at-risk youth each  year.

Training

Let Moms on the Run help you get to the finish line of the Women Run the Cities races! Moms on the Run is a structured fitness program for women of all ages (not just moms) and fitness levels who want to get in shape--and have a fun time doing so. Topics include interval training to increase cardiovascular fitness levels and maximize metabolism benefits. Walk, jog or run your way to a first race or personal record.

Questions?

When should I register?

General registration for Women Run the Cities begins Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at 10 a.m. Registration closes when field limit is reached or at 6 p.m. on May 18, 2019, whichever comes first.

Registration prices increase as the field fills from $37 to $64. Register early for the lowest price!

How can I see if I'm registered?

Use the online registration confirmation tool to verify entry to the 2019 Women Run the Cities.

Can I switch from the 10K to another distance or transfer my entry to someone else?

Registrations may be switched to another distance within the event. Additional fees and restrictions may apply. Registrations may be transferred to another person. Registrations may only be transferred within the designated transfer period for each event and within the same event and distance as the original registration. The Women Run the Cities transfer deadline is May 10, 2019. Additional fees and restrictions may apply. Once race numbers are assigned, they are never transferable.

Can I receive a refund or defer my entry to next year?

Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration. This policy is valid until 5 days before the event. To request a refund, email info@tcmevents.org or call 651-289-7701 within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable. Deferrals are not permitted.

Can I participate with a stroller?

Strollers are not permitted in Women Run the Cities 10K. Strollers are permitted in Women Run the Cities 5K. See 5K page for details.

Do I have to run the entire time?

No, you may walk or run at any time during the race. Women Run the Cities 10K participants must, however, be able to maintain a 20-minute-per-mile pace throughout the race due to course limits.
