Prizes will also be awarded randomly at Packet Pick Up, to the "middle of the pack" and at the post-race party!

Love on the Run

Pick up a back tag at packet pick up and let it do all the talking for you! Choose from 4 options:
Single (green)
Taken (red)
It's Complicated (yellow)
___________ (white)

Pin the tag to the back of your shirt on race day and avoid the awkwardness of attempting to do a “ring-check” while running or figuring out how to weave the fact that you’re taken into your conversation with a persistent suitor.

Post-race Party

EVERYONE IS INVITED! Help us overtake Cooper Irish Pub in St. Louis Park (6 mile drive from Lake Harriet with free underground parking) after the race for $3.50 FINNEGANS beer and exclusive appetizer specials! Stop by just to enjoy time with friends or join TCM staff and volunteers in fun activities and ice breakers.

The main parking lots surrounding the Bandshell will be closed to participant parking, as will the parking bays along the course.

Sweats Check

All participants may place their warm-up clothing and other items in plastic bags which will be available at the Sweats Check for storing items during the race. If your sweats are in a backpack or a bag that is not transparent, you’ll be asked to empty the contents into one of our plastic bags in order to check them. WE DISCOURAGE RUNNERS FROM CARRYING THEIR SWEATS TO THE EVENT IN BACKPACKS, DUFFLE BAGS OR NON-TRANSPARENT BAGS. Please do not place valuables in your bag. When you pick up your race number, tear off the tag on the bottom and affix it to the outside of your bag. Bags can be dropped pre-race in the Sweats Check area near the pavilion.

NOTE: You should also include a business card inside your closed bag in case the tag falls off the bag. Volunteers will be checking the sweats bag number with your number when you pick up your bag. Twin Cities In Motion is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SWEATS UNATTENDED AT THE START, FINISH, OR ALONG THE COURSE.

Help us make it a GREEN race

We're adding ways that you can help us increase our "green" initiatives to keep our carbon footprint as small as possible! NEW THIS YEAR: Please only bring recyclable or compostable items to the race.

  • Look for volunteers with signs to help direct you whether to RECYCLE or COMPOST your waste.

  • We donate leftover food to Sharing and Caring Hands in Minneapolis
