Celebrate Independence Day in Style! This race is perfect for:
  • Friends and families who celebrate the holiday at the cabin, out-of-state, or wherever, who want to run in a 4th of July 5K or half marathon from wherever you are (whenever you want).

  • Building out your own holiday race traditions. Maybe you want to run mid-morning and have post-race Bloody Mary's. Maybe you want an early evening race with post-race s’mores. It's totally up to you!

  • Competitive runners – Design your course, race, and submit your finish time to be included in our official, unofficial results!

Do I need to run on a certain day or time? No, you can choose to run anytime after you've registered. Be sure to submit your finish time by July 6 to be included in results.

Is there kids pricing for virtual? No, there is just one price for virtual, no matter who is participating and what distance you choose to run.

Can I participate on the course on race day if I'm registered for the virtual event? No, virtual runners cannot run the Official Course. 

Can you mail my medal outside of the United States? No, please provide a secure, U.S. address. TCM is not responsible for gear that is not received.

Does the virtual race allow me to maintain my legacy status as a 1776 Society member? Yes!

Can I transfer my virtual race entry? No, fees are non-refundable and race numbers are non-transferable for the virtual event, but we are exploring options for next year.
