Pace Teams

TCM will have eleven pace leaders to help you meet your half marathon goal time! Pacers will be identifiable by their bright green shirts with 'PACER' on the back. Pacers will hold signs on a stick indicating pace and goal time, and will be in the starting corral 20 minutes before race start. Pace group listings will be announced on this page when they are available.

There will also be signs indicating paces in the start area for your convenience to properly seed yourself in the starting corral. The course will allow for a 16-minute mile maximum pace before it closes.

Race Day

Race morning can be hectic. Please keep the following items in mind and take a look at the start/finish area map before race morning:

  • Prioritize parking - worry about this BEFORE race day. See more tips on parking on the "Maps and Course" page.

  • Get to the race site early - make sure you have plenty of time to use the porta-potties, utilize sweats check and load into the start corral.

    • Porta-potty efficiency: form an independent line in front of each porta-potty to minimize wait time.

  • Relay participants, don't miss the transportation bus! See the "two-person relay" page for details.
