Sweats Check

All participants may place their warm-up clothing and other items in plastic bags which will be available at the Sweats Check for storing items during the race. If your sweats are in a backpack or a bag that is not transparent, you’ll be asked to empty the contents into one of our plastic bags in order to check them. WE DISCOURAGE RUNNERS FROM CARRYING THEIR SWEATS TO THE EVENT IN BACKPACKS, DUFFLE BAGS OR NON-TRANSPARENT BAGS. Please do not place valuables in your bag. When you pick up your race number, tear off the tag on the bottom and affix it to the outside of your bag. Bags can be dropped pre-race in the Sweats Check area near the pavilion.

NOTE: You should also include a business card inside your closed bag in case the tag falls off the bag. Volunteers will be checking the sweats bag number with your number when you pick up your bag. Twin Cities In Motion is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR SWEATS UNATTENDED AT THE START, FINISH, OR ALONG THE COURSE.

Parking Information

There are various surface lots, parking ramps, metered-parking and non-metered parking available near the Start/Finish area. Parking fills up quickly on race morning so it’s best to arrive early to find a spot. Plan on walking a few blocks up to 3/4 mile.

St. Anthony Falls Parking Ramp is located at University Ave SE & SE 2nd Avenue. There is also a surface lot just east of the ramp. Due to road closure schedules, it is advisable to be in the ramp/lot by 6:00 a.m.

Do not leave valuables in your car.

If you park in the neighborhoods, please be courteous. Don’t block any driveways and respect private property.

TCM Merchandise

TCM merchandise will be available for purchase in the TCM tent in the start/finish area. Don't forget to bring your wallet!

Rules of Competition

Twin Cities In Motion (TCM) has established a Games Committee in accordance with the USA Track & Field (USATF) Rules of Competition. TCM follows and applies the USATF Rules in all events it conducts to ensure safe, fair races for all participants. There are two rules in particular that we want you to be aware of:

Buying/Selling/Transferring Race Numbers: TCM does not allow the selling or trading of Race Numbers and will take necessary action to prevent these transactions. If TCM Officials become aware of an individual involved in the buying or selling of an Official Race Number, the individuals involved may be banned from participating in future TCM events.

Headphones: While strongly discouraged, portable listening devices will be allowed in the half marathon. Those competing for awards of any kind may not use such devices. Cell phones and other devices capable of receiving communication are not allowed on the course.
