The Twin Cities In Motion office is located at 2635 University Avenue West, Suite 190, St. Paul, MN 55114.
On race day, packet pick up will move to Father Hennepin Bluff Park.
Paid parking is available at a variety of ramps and lots on either side of the river. Half marathon participants are encouraged to park near their start line on the west side of the Mississippi River.
City of Minneapolis metered spaces are not enforced on Independence Day. Please be aware not all metered spaces in Minneapolis are operated by the City; always read the information posted on the meter to be certain.
Be aware that normal parking rules and fees apply and take note of any hooded meters (no parking). Allow for at least 30 minutes of extra time on race morning; Main Street closes to traffic between 3rd Avenue and 6th Avenue at 5 a.m. and reopens at Noon, West River Parkway closes to traffic between Stone Arch Bridge and Plymouth at 6 a.m. and reopens at 11 a.m. and other streets surrounding the start, finish, and course may be blocked. Please plan your route ahead of time and be respectful of private property.
The Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, 225 3rd Ave South, Minneapolis, MN 55401, is up to .8 miles from the start lines and offers a special rate to participants and spectators under the Red, White & Boom! room block.

Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.

Online registration will be available until the field fills or Wednesday, June 28. If the race isn't sold out, in person registration will be available at Packet Pick Up and on race day. Registration will close when the field limit is reached.

In order for each person to receive registration confirmation, one must provide a unique email address for each unique registration. For example: John and Jane Smith using "smithfamily"@gmail.com for their registrations will only receive one person's confirmation, and one detailed race email.

No, the relay is limited to two persons only.
Registrations may NOT be transferred to another distance, but race registrations for select TCM events may be transferred to another person through the automated TCM transfer process. Registrations may only be transferred within the designated transfer period for each event and within the same event and distance as the original registration. The Red, White & Boom! Transfer deadline is June 7. Additional fees and restrictions may apply including ineligibility of some registrations completed using an invitation code. Assigned race numbers are never transferable. Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration only. To request a refund, email [email protected] or call 289-7701 within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable. Deferrals are not permitted.
Yes. Please have ready their race number and the correct spelling of the person's name. Registrants will be notified of race numbers in the pre-race email following the end of online registration. Picking up others' packets is limited to FOUR at a time if others are waiting; thanks for understanding.
Yes. If you are unable to pick up your packet before the event, packet pick up will also be available near the start line beginning at 5:30 a.m.
