We'll be holding you accountable for each challenge by collecting live results, follow the leader board below. Workouts can be submitted manually or through syncing to any fitness app to the Fit Rankings app.

This month submit the elevation you worked out each day.
Once you have connected your device, the activities you complete with that device will automatically be synced to your account and the challenge too. There are additional tools available to you at FitRankings.com that will allow you to add, edit or delete your activities and devices.
Note: if you are using Apple Health you must manually sync your activities from the iOS app.
If you are going to go for a walk remember to click start on your workout app! Only walks as workouts will be included, passive steps will not be included in the challenges.

TOP GENERAL SAFETY TIPS

Always follow all traffic and relevant instructions and ordinances for your method of movement —roads are NOT closed, so you must be responsible for your own safety and maintain situational awareness

If wearing headphones, keep volume down and only wear one ear bud. Always stay alert and aware of what’s going on around you

Look and listen both ways before crossing

Write down or tell someone of your exercise route if you are leaving your home

Wear reflective material if you must work out before dawn or after dark

Carry identification or write your name, phone number, and blood type on the inside sole of your running shoe. Include any medical information

Run against traffic, bike with traffic, and follow any other ordinances or instructions for your type of movement

Drink when you feel thirsty, bring plenty of fluids

Exercise before it gets too hot or on a less humid day

If you’re feeling hot, lightheaded, or dizzy during the workout slow your pace to prevent overheating

November Challenge registration will open October,19 to participants.
Season pass participants (only) will receive their mailed swag at the end of October. Participants who sign up for the season pass in October will receive their mailed swag by the end of November and those who sign up in November will receive their mailed swag by the end of December.
No, we encourage you to run, walk, bike, skip, MOVE! For the September and December challenge we’ll be accepting any form of fitness because the challenge is measured in minutes—that means yoga, CrossFit, skiing, any type of fitness can count. For October and November the challenges will accept any type of fitness that moves across distance, like active walking, running, biking, Nordic skiing, or snow shoeing to name a few.
Don’t forget to start your fitness app for walking, as passive walking/steps don't count.

Yes, each month is its own challenge. Alternatively, you may register for the full 2020 season (Sept-Dec) at once which includes exclusive swag for pass holders.
Season pass holders only have to register once. Then at the start of each month, season pass holders will need to go to the TCM Oct – Dec month’s website and login on the leader board. Once logged into the challenge your work outs will be included toward that month’s challenge.
You can either connect a wearable (i.e., Garmin) or free fitness app on your phone (i.e. MapMyFitness). Or you can manually input your mileage by clicking "add activity" on the results leader board or by going to your FitRankings profile at FitRankings.com/me.
If you don’t use a fitness app or wearable and would like to upload a workout manually, you can input your fitness activities on FitRankings by logging into your account at www.FitRankings.com. Manually adding an activity is not available through the iOS FitRankings app.

Participants who sign up for all 4 months in 2020 will receive a sticker, crew style Fitsoks, special running Knockaround sunglasses, and BOCO glove and cold weather running headband. There is no swag for those registering one month at a time. Season pass swag kits will be mailed out at the end of October if registered by October 1st.
Fun prize contests will be happening on the Facebook group page. These will all be fun contests and drawings that are non-performance based and are available to individual month as well as season pass holders.
Log on to Facebook (must have account). Search for TCM MNy Monthly Challenges. Click “join group” and you’ll be prompted to answer questions to gain exclusive access to the group. Access will be granted within two business days.
If you don’t have a smart watch that automatically calculates your elevation, you can use the free website mapmyrun.com. You can make a profile and under “Routes” you can click “Create Route”. After mapping out your route you can “Save Route” and it will pop up with the total distance and elevation. On the November Leaderboard you can click “+ Activity” to enter your workout to your Fit Rankings profile.
At this time we don’t have the capability to give credits towards tier status or points for these challenges.
