The COVID Safety You Expect
This limited-size, socially distanced event is designed for a safe return to racing. Our top priority is safety. Everyone -- staff, volunteers and participants -- plays an important role in keeping the event COVID-safe. Read more here.
Registration opens at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 19 and participation is limited to the first 250 runners total between the 4 mile and 7 mile — so register fast to ensure your spot. If the limit is not reached, registration will close at 9 a.m. the day before the race. There is no race day registration.
The cost of 4 mile registration is $35.00 to $45.00 until registration closes (plus processing fees). The prices raise as the race fills.
The cost of 7 mile registration is $40.00 to $50.00 until registration closes (plus processing fees). The prices raise as the race fills.

PACKET PICKUP
Available on race day only, 1 hour before your session begins.
Participants in the virtual event will be able to submit results starting January 19 through April 4, 2021. Submit results here.
Gear will be mailed to the shipping address provided at the time of registration. Register by 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 4 for mailing by Friday, March 12. All virtual registrations after that date and time will be mailed by Friday, April 9.
Neighborhood parking is available around Boom Island and B.F. Nelson Park. Please be aware of neighborhood specific no-parking restrictions, as runners getting parking tickets reduces the amount of gold in your bucket at the end of a rainbow. There is no parking at B.F. Nelson Park Parking Lot.
Spectators are strongly discouraged at MNy 250 and will be excluded from the entire race venue or select parts of the race venue as made possible by the event site layout.
Those runners participating in the virtual event will be able to submit their results here. Results will be open 1/19 -4/4.

Questions?
Masks are required to be worn in all areas inside the venue until you have crossed the start line. Masks do not need to be worn on course while running but should not be discarded and must be put back on as soon as possible after crossing the finish line.
Immediately after the finish line there will be a contactless pick-up of a pre-packaged bag with long sleeve Brooks technical shirt, sealed bottles of fluids, and packaged food. One bag per runner, please. There will be a single fluid station with sealed, bottled fluids available on the 4-mile course and two fluid stations with sealed, bottled fluids on the 7-mile course.
In accordance with state guidelines there will be no results board, awards ceremony, or finish festival. Once participants have collected their post-race goodies they are asked to promptly depart the event venue without congregating in groups.
Additional safety measures include, but are not limited to:
- All participants, volunteers and staff are required to undergo an on-site contactless COVID screening (screening questions) before participating in the event
- In order to comply with current state of Minnesota gathering-size restrictions, no unregistered spectators will be allowed at MNy 250s
- All participants, volunteers and staff are required to wear masks (participants are not required to wear a mask while racing)
- Small wave starts to maintain social distancing
- Multiple hand sanitizing stations
- No race day registration
- Fluid stations on courses over 5K in distance, all participants are encouraged to be self-sufficient
- Pre-bagged participant shirt/gift, food and water for contactless post-race distribution
- Runners are required to maintain social distancing at all times while not racing and are encouraged to maintain 6' space between fellow participants whenever possible while on course
- Runners are required to promptly depart finish line after completing race
- No spitting, hugging, or high-fives, but air hugs, virtual high fives and words of support are highly encouraged

I can no longer make the event. Can I transfer to a friend?
Yes, you may transfer your race entry to a friend by March 4, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. After that date your registration is non transferable. Please follow this link to initiate a transfer. There is a $15 transfer fee.
I’m signed up for the 7 mile, but I’d rather do the 4 mile. Can I switch distances?
If a participant wants to transfer from the 4 mile to the 7 mile, they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND the difference in entry fees. If a participant wants to transfer from the 7 mile to the 4 mile they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND no refund will be made to account for the difference. The deadline to switch distances is March 4, 2021 at 5:00 p.m. After that date your registration is non transferable. Click here to begin the process. I’m currently signed up for the in-person MNy 250, can I switch to the virtual event, or vice versa?
If a participant wants to transfer from the virtual to the in-person event, they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND the difference in entry fees. If a participant wants to transfer from the in-person to the virtual event they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND no refund will be made to account for the difference. Can I receive a refund or defer my entry to another date?
Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration. This policy is valid until 5 days before the event. To request a refund, email info@tcmevents.org within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable.
No, if you are experiencing COVID-19 signs & symptoms or are exposed to COVID-19, you will automatically be converted to the virtual event.
Strollers or pets are not permitted at the event. Thanks for understanding.
Rewards In Motion (RIM) members will receive points when registering for our MNy 250 events, however they will not count towards your tier status. You may also use previously earned points towards the cost of the event.

If the event is cancelled for any reason, including federal, state, or local COVID guidance, your entry will be converted to virtual and you will receive your medal and gear in the mail, and there will be no credits, deferrals or refunds issued.
