Bring Back the Mile Tour

The Medtronic TC 1 Mile is part of the 2014 Bring Back the Mile Grand Prix Tour, which offers a $7500 prize purse for the top-placing athletes in the year-long series.

TC 1 Mile Derby

To add excitement for spectators and participants at the Medtronic TC 1 Mile, the professional waves of the event are the basis of the TC 1 Mile Derby whereby race fans can obtain randomly assigned "derby tickets" that connect them to a professional runner.  Should their pro runner win, fans win, too!

Awards

Professional wave awards will be presented at the finish line to the top three finishers of each gender immediately after the race.

1st, 2nd and 3rd place age-group awards will be given in the following categories: 19 & under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, and 80 & over.  Age group awards will be presented based on chip time from any wave except the Professional Championship.  Age-group awards will be mailed to recipients.
