A mile of fun for every pace. This race is perfect for:

  • Individuals - run on your own and test your speed on a USATF-certified 1 mile course in the Open or Masters (40+) Waves

  • USATF MN Team Circuit participants - race to earn points toward year-end awards in the USATF MN Team Circuit Wave

Wave Information

The race will be run in multiple waves. The first wave starts at 6:30 p.m.* with each successive wave starting approximately 10-30 minutes after the one preceding it. See the chart below for wave information and start times. Start times are not final. Please check back.

Corporate Team Challenge Wave

This wave is exclusively for runners on corporate teams! Let's get competitive! Gather your coworkers, nominate a captain, and create a corporate team. Teams receive extra benefits and awards for being one of the top three largest or fastest divisions.

USATF Minnesota Team Circuit Championship Wave

This wave makes up one of nine races in which USATF Minnesota registered teams compete for points toward year-end awards. Stay to watch local professionals who make up the field of runners in this wave for 2016 USATF Minnesota Team Circuit competitors presented by Twin Cities In Motion and Life Time Run.

Friends & Family Wave

This wave is for runners of all ages and abilities! Grab your friends or family members and get moving! Any participants are welcome to choose this wave! (Please leave strollers and pets at home.) 

 

7:00 p.m.*

     

Masters Wave

This wave is open to all runners ages 40 and older who are taking their race more seriously. Typically, runners who are looking for a little more space in their starting corral will toe the line in this wave.

Open Wave

This wave is open to all runners under age 40 who are taking their race more seriously. Typically, runners who are looking for a little more space in their starting corral will toe the line in this wave.

Women’s Professional Invitational Wave **

This wave is for invited runners only. Stay to watch the professional women compete for the $25,000 prize purse! The field includes national and world class runners, including Team USA Minnesota athletes. The female event record was set in 2011 by Sara Hall at 4 minutes, 30.8 seconds!

Men’s Professional Invitational Wave **

This wave is for invited runners only. Stay to watch the professional men compete for the $25,000 prize purse! The field includes national and world class runners, including Team USA Minnesota athletes. The male event record was set last year by Ben Blankenship at 3 minutes, 55.8 seconds!

Guaranteed Medtronic TC 10 Mile Entry

One thousand finishers will be selected at random to receive guaranteed, non-complimentary entry for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile. This is an opportunity to pre-register in June and bypass the July lottery. Selected participants receive an email at the end of May with registration instructions and must register by specified date prior to the lottery. Guaranteed entries may be used by the participant only.
