Can I make any changes to my registration?

Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration. This policy is valid until 5 days before the event. To request a refund, email info@tcmevents.org within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable.

Your representative will need a completed Packet Pick Up Authorization Form and their photo ID in order to pick up your packet. Your representative will also need to have the runner’s race number.

Note: only the representative's photo ID is required, not the participant’s.

Is there a virtual option?

There is not a virtual option for the Family Events.

Can I run with my child?

In the Family Mile and Half Mile, parents and guardians are welcome to register for the race and run with their child. All persons on course MUST be registered, including those in strollers. (See 'Can I run with a stroller?')

NOTE: For security and safety of all participants, no one is permitted to enter the finish chute from the exit point. Check back later this summer for final reunion details for any parents or guardians who choose not to run with their child.

In the Toddler Trot, we encourage you to prepare your child to complete this approximately 50-yard race, held on grass, independently. Check back later this summer for final Toddler Trot and Diaper Dash details.

Are strollers/dog permitted?

Strollers are permitted in the 5K, Mile and Half Mile. Please indicate that you intend to run with a stroller on your registration form. You will sign a special waiver and be given a special "Stroller Bib" at Packet Pickup.

While we love our four legged friends, we ask that they cheer you on from the sidelines and reunite with them after you exit the Finish Controlled Zone. Thank you for your understanding.

What precautions is TCM taking to ensure my safety?

Safety has always been our organization’s top priority. We continue to monitor COVID-19 and all other public health and safety risks and will evaluate and update our event safety protocols so that they are properly calibrated on event weekend. Any event changes or updated protocols will be communicated in the Pre-Race email sent race week.

If you are interested in learning more, including our cancellation policies for both COVID-19 and reasons other than COVID-19, click here.

What will happen to my registration if the event is cancelled due to COVID-19?

Registration for the 2023 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend registration is non-refundable 48 hours after registration and is completely non-refundable for registrations made 5 calendar days or less before the event, except if state or local authorities mandate race cancelation due to the Covid-19 Pandemic. In that case, partial cash refunds will be provided per this document.

How do I volunteer for the event?

It takes nearly 5,000 volunteers to keep our organization and events running.

Whether you’re looking for a one-day experience or a year-round leadership opportunity, we offer a variety of meaningful roles suited to help you reach your personal and professional goals. From course marshals to fluid stations and finish line volunteers, we have something for everyone.

Check back this summer for available volunteer roles, or check our our volunteer page for year-round opportunities.

How can I further support TCM?

TCM’s ability to impact our community is due in part to the generosity of our runners and supporters. As a member supported 501(c)3 non-profit, we exist to provide platforms for people to run together in safe and exciting ways that are approachable for everyone, regardless of age, background or economic ability. Your support will ensure an investment in the local running community for years to come and lay the foundation for generations of runners through the TC Kids Run Free program.

You can donate during your registration process for a TCM event, or you can donate here.  You can also become a TCM Member which includes registration perks to reward your support of our nonprofit efforts.
