On the day when it seems like half of Minnesota is running the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon, we invite the other half to cheer them on!
That’s why Twin Cities In Motion, Vikings Hall of Famer, and former Minnesota Supreme Court Justice Alan Page have launched the Diane & Alan Page Community Cheer Challenge (DAPCCC) . The Cheer Challenge invites Minnesotans to assemble along the marathon course to support runners and gather as a community, just like Justice Page and his late wife Diane did for decades.
Voting for Cheer Zones starts Oct 2, 7 a.m. , vote for your cheer top zone and enter lucky draw.

You don’t need to play the sousaphone like Justice Page, to participate! To form your cheer zone, simply:
- Gather family, friends, or co-workers
- Pick a preferred spot for your cheer zone along the route of the Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America®
- Think of unique ways – sights, sounds, signs, etc. -- to motivate and support thousands of appreciative runners striding by.
Top cheer zones will earn donations in their name to the nonprofit of their choice. It’s a challenge where everyone wins!
