When should I register?

The online registration will close on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 6:00 p.m. and will open again on Friday, Oct. 4,  at the Health & Fitness Expo onsite (this is not online registration).  Registration will be available for those events at the Health & Fitness Expo until Friday at 8:00 p.m.  Registration will then be open on Capitol grounds on Saturday, Oct. 5, starting at 6:30 a.m.

Event prices increase when blocks of entries are filled, not by a date on the calendar. Register early; we expect demand for the early block prices to be strong and blocks can fill without notice.

A great way to make sure you never miss the best price on an event is to enroll in
our free Rewards In Motion program. Rewards In Motion members will ALWAYS receive access to the lowest price block prior to public registration opening.

How can I see if I'm registered?

Use the online registration confirmation tool to verify entry to the 2019 Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon Weekend.

Can I run with my child?

In the Family Mile and Half Mile, parents and guardians are welcome to register for the race and run with their child. All persons on course MUST be registered, including those in strollers. (See 'Can I run with a stroller?')

NOTE: Parents and guardians may meet their child at the exit of the secured finish area if they choose not to participate in the event. For security and safety of all participants, no one is permitted to enter the finish chute from the exit point.

The Toddler Trot is a grassy, roped-off, 50-yard space, designed just for kids. Two- and young three-year-olds may be accompanied by parents or guardians, if they need the support. In this case, parents are permitted on the course without a race bib. We encourage you to prepare your child to run independently in this race, especially for three-year-olds and up.

Can I run with a stroller?

Strollers are permitted in all road races on Saturday (5K, mile, and half mile). For security and safety purposes, all persons on course MUST be registered, including those in strollers. If a child is not already registered to participate in a family event, they must register and wear a race bib to be on the course.

Can I receive a refund or defer my entry to next year?

Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration. This policy is valid until 5 days before the event. To request a refund, email or call 651-289-7701 within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable. Deferrals are not permitted.

How can I pick up my family or school's packets?

Packet pick up for the Medtronic TC Family Events is organized by last name. School and group captains may contact us to inquire about bulk pick-up options. There will not be a timing device attached to the bib.

Can I pick up my packet on race day?

Yes. If you are unable to pick up your packet before the event, packet pick up will also be available on site until 30 minutes before your race starts.

Where can I park?

Various street parking is available in lots, ramps, and neighborhoods surrounding the State Capitol grounds. Be aware of road closures and adhere to 'No Parking' signs. Vehicles violating city regulations will be ticketed and vehicles on the course will be towed.
