Due to the popularity of the race, registration for the Medtronic TC 10 Mile is via online drawing. The drawing takes place in July.
Follow the "registration" prompts to sign up for the drawing by entering your race registration information. If you are randomly selected in the drawing, the $80 entry fee will be withdrawn from your account and your registration will be confirmed for the race. If you are not selected, you will be counted individually towards the "two strikes you're in" tracking.
People may choose to enter the drawing as a group with the contingent that one, two, or up to ten total entrants are selected. Registering as a "group" does not change your odds of being selected. To apply for registration as a group, either "Create a New Team" or select the team from the dropdown list during the registration process. Participants will be notified in the same way as all entrants, via the registration confirmation tool on imATHLETE. Members may not be added to the team once the window for entering closes and registrants are selected. If your team is not selected, all runners will all be counted individually towards the "two strikes you're in" tracking. Note: groups are for registration purposes only and there is no team component to the 10 mile associated with group entry.
NEW IN 2017: If you are unsuccessful in the drawing, the $80 hold will release and you will be charged nothing. No fee will be withdrawn and you will not be registered in the event. Your name will be individually accounted towards the "two strikes you're in" drawing tracking.
Note: debit card users; there will be an $80 hold/pending charge from the time you register for the drawing until the drawing is conducted.
Registration confirmation is available online. Stay tuned for the search function to verify status in drawing. Participants will be notified of drawing selections on Wednesday, July 19.
Registrations may NOT be transferred to another distance, but race registrations for select TCM events may be transferred to another person through the automated TCM transfer process. Registrations may only be transferred within the designated transfer period for each event and within the same event and distance as the original registration. The Medtronic TC 10 Mile transfer deadline is August 18. Additional fees and restrictions may apply including ineligibility of some registrations completed using an invitation code. Assigned race numbers are never transferable. View step-by-step instructions to begin a transfer. Email [email protected] with questions.
Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration only. To request a refund, email [email protected] or call 651-289-7701 within 48 hours of when you submitted your drawing registration. Online transaction fees are non-refundable. After the Medtronic TC 10 Mile drawing is conducted, refunds are not available. Deferrals are not permitted.
Yes. Picking up others' packets is limited to FOUR at a time. Your representative will need a completed Packet Pick Up Authorization Form and his or her photo ID in order to pick up your packet. It is helpful if your representative also has the runner’s race information handy, but it is not required. Note: only the representative's photo ID is required, not the participant.
No. Packet pick up ends at the Health & Fitness Expo on Saturday, September 30 at 8 p.m. SHARP. There is absolutely no packet pick up on race day. No exceptions.
