Below is the registration pricing for the Hot Dash 10 Mile. Tier 1 and Tier 2 will close as blocks are filled. Price tier increases for tiers 3-7 are date-based. All registration tiers, including virtual, are subject to availability. Register early to guaranteed your spot and shirt size.

Virtual registration is $35 for both the 5k and 10 Mile. There are no price increases in the virtual event.

Packet Pick Up

NOTE: Subject to change. Check back closer to event day for final event details.

Parking is very limited; we strongly encourage carpooling or using public transportation.

Be sure to allow plenty of time (45 minutes to an hour) between arrival and start time to walk to the packet pick up area, use toilets, check your gear, line up in the start corral, and prepare for the event. The start lines are over .25 miles from the packet pick up/festival area. Please plan your route ahead of time and be respectful of private property.

DROP OFF/PICK UP ZONE: is located near Sheridan Memorial Park. Volunteers will be stationed to assist. To access this area, exit I-94 at Broadway St., take a left on Marshall St. NE, and then an immediate left onto 13th Ave. NE. Participants may be dropped here and can walk to the packet pick up area, approximately 0.6 miles on a plowed path. Vehicles and pedestrians in drop-off zone should use caution entering and exiting this area. Watch for icy spots!

Please be cautious of areas with no parking signs and be aware of current winter season parking requirements, snow emergency restrictions and traffic conditions in the city of Minneapolis. Please do not park in the Ramsey Neighborhood (adjacent to Boom Island Park). This is reserved for residents.

Limited free parking is available in three Graco lots on Marshall Street until lots are filled, signs will be posted at the entrance/exit to designated lots. Parking lots will fill quickly and access to the lots adjacent to the race course may be limited until the streets re-open after the event.

Virtual Race Information

Participants in the virtual 10 Mile and 5K will be able to submit results March 1 – December 31, 2022. Submit results for the 10 Mile here.  

Gear will be mailed to the shipping address provided at the time of registration on Wednesday, April 6, 2022.

Any changes to your address must be sent to prior to Friday, February 18. Additional charges or delays in shipping may apply for incorrect addresses.

If a participant wants to transfer from the virtual to the in-person event, they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND the difference in entry fees.  If a participant wants to transfer from the in-person to the virtual event they will be responsible for the $15 transfer fee AND no refund will be made to account for the difference. Deadline is March 9, 2022, at 6 p.m. After that date your registration is non transferable. Click here to begin the transfer process.

TC Kids Run Free Program

NEW in 2022! All kids under the age of 18 are welcome to run any distance for free.  Kids in the 5K and 10 Mile will receive the same amenities as the adults.

Kids in the TC Kids Tater Trot will receive a fun finishers gift.  There will be age appropriate distances including an approximate mile, half mile, and pre-K dash.

The Corporate Team Challenge offers workplaces of all types and sizes the opportunity to add team-building and excitement to the workplace while promoting health and fitness.

Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.


2022 Results will be available after the race. Age group awards will be mailed out post-event for the categories of male, female, and non-binary athletes placing 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in their age group.  Athletes registered under “prefer not to disclose” for gender are not eligible for age group awards.

2022 Race Course Map


When should I register?

Online registration closes when field limit is reached or at 6 p.m. on March 16, 2022, whichever comes first. Walk up registration will be offered at packet pick up March 17, 18 and 19, if spots are available. Registration prices increase as the field fills -- register early for the lowest price!

How can I see if I'm registered?

Use the online registration confirmation tool to verify entry to the 2022 Hot Dash.

Can I switch to the 5K or virtual?

Registrations may be switched between the 5K, 10 mile and virtual distances one time via this link here. Transfer fees and restrictions apply. 

Registrations may also be transferred to another person one time. Registrations may only be transferred within the designated transfer period for each event and within the same event and distance as the original registration.

The Hot Dash transfer deadline is March 09, 2022, at 6:00 p.m. Additional fees and restrictions may apply. Once race numbers are assigned, they are never transferable.

Can I receive a refund or defer my entry to next year?

Refunds are available within 48 hours of registration. This policy is valid until 5 days before the event. To request a refund, email or call 651-289-7700 within 48 hours of when you submitted your registration. If accepted, you will be refunded your race entry fee; online transaction fees are non-refundable. Deferrals are not permitted.

Can I pick up my friend's packet?

Yes. Please have their race number and the correct spelling of the person's name available during pick up. Registrants will be notified of race numbers in the pre-race email following the end of online registration. Picking up others' packets is limited to FOUR at a time if others are waiting in line; thanks for understanding.

Do I have to run the entire time?

No, you may walk or run at any time during the race. Hot Dash 10 Mile participants must, however, be able to maintain a 14-minute-per-mile pace throughout the race due to course limits. 5K participants must be able to maintain a 25-minute-per-mile pace throughout the race.

Can I run with a stroller?

Strollers are not permitted in the Hot Dash 10 Mile. Strollers are permitted in the Hot Dash 5K. See 5K page for details.

Can I run with my dog/pets?

We love four-legged friends, however, they are not permitted on course. Thanks for understanding.

Can I volunteer for the event?

Yes! We're looking for people available to volunteer at the event on race day. Help us set up the event, serve participants on course, manage logistics, and more. Click here
