About the Race
Glen Perkins is a husband, father, and 3x All Star closer for the Minnesota Twins. He married his college sweetheart, Alisha, in 2005, and they were later blessed with two little miracles, Addie & Lyla. Together they have tried to navigate this exciting and sometimes difficult baseball life.
The race will benefit the PrairieCare Child & Family Fund (part of the Prairie Care Institute) which is working to transform psychiatric care through education, research, and training. Alisha is outspoken regarding her struggle with anxiety and the Perkins' want to help bring mental health care into the 21st century and break the stigma surrounding these diseases.
Teaming up with Twin Cities In Motion and the Minnesota Twins the Perkins were able to put on a great race where everyone crosses home plate and gets their medal from a Minnesota Twins Player.
Due to the baseball game scheduled on the day of the race, walkers must be able to maintain a 20-minute mile pace. The finish line and entrance into the stadium will be closed at this time.
*please check back for course updates

Fundraisers and Top Finishers
No matter if you've registered for Fifteen's 5K, you're invited to start a fundraising page to make a difference in the Twin Cities! The PrairieCare Child & Family Fund supports the promotion of child and family health and wellness through the provision of grants for education, health promotion, mental health services, and research.
There will be 3 mile markers along the course. Kilometer markers will also be along the course to mark Glen's journey from playing college games for the U of MN to MLB games at Target field. There will be no pace teams. The finish line will be indicated with balloon towers and announcements from KS95.
There will be no sweats check, so please plan to leave valuables and personal items behind or to leave enough time to keep things in your car. Race start is 8:00 a.m.
Clocks & Timing
Fifteen's 5K is a fun run. The race is not chip timed but a clock will be set up at the finish line.
