Parking Information

Parking is available on first-come, first-serve basis at meters and surface lots between the start and finish line. With the start line near Mariucci Arena and the finish line at Target Field, this is a great opportunity to use the light rail! Park near the start, run the race, partake in post-race festivities at Target Field Station, then hop on the train for a ride back. Visit Metro Transit for more information. The race starts at 8 a.m. SHARP!

Spectators

Friends and family are welcome to come to the race, bring a motivational sign, and watch and cheer on participants! As always, please be respectful of private property and do not enter the race course. Pedestrians are permitted to cross the course at intersections where race officials are present to direct foot traffic.

Unfortunately spectators are NOT allowed inside of Target Field to watch participants finish the race, but the finish line will be broadcast live on the screens outside of Gate 6!

Results

There will not be timed results, but a clock will be set up at the start and finish lines.

About the Race

Glen Perkins is a husband, father, and 3x All Star closer for the Minnesota Twins. He married his college sweetheart, Alisha, in 2005, and they were later blessed with two little miracles, Addie & Lyla. Together they have tried to navigate this exciting and sometimes difficult baseball life.

The race will benefit the PrairieCare Child & Family Fund (part of the Prairie Care Institute) which is working to transform psychiatric care through education, research, and training. Alisha is outspoken regarding her struggle with anxiety and the Perkins' want to help bring mental health care into the 21st century and break the stigma surrounding these diseases.

Teaming up with Twin Cities In Motion and the Minnesota Twins the Perkins were able to put on a great race where everyone crosses home plate and gets their medal from a Minnesota Twins Player.
