Tuktoyaktuk?! It’s the challenge for someone so tough, they go NORTH for winter. And so what if it’s on bumpy roads, through blizzards and dodging wandering polar bears. You'll road-trip all the way up (and back) to Tuktoyaktuk on Canada's lovely Arctic Ocean. Summon your inner caribou for a challenge that demands a total of 113 hours of activity. And, once you reach Tuk, take a moment to enjoy the northern lights, check for frostbite and then turn yourself around because this is a round trip.

Your training sessions during this challenge are different than running in a controlled race environment with closed roads and medical support. Additionally, during the COVID-19 pandemic, please follow all relevant orders and guidance, including but not limited to mask and social distance requirements, gathering size restrictions, and trail or facility closures.
Once you have connected your device, the activities you complete with that device will automatically be synced to your account and the challenge too. There are additional tools available to you at FitRankings.com that will allow you to add, edit or delete your activities and devices.
Note: if you are using Apple Health you must manually sync your activities from the iOS app.
If you are going to go for a walk remember to click start on your workout app! Only walks as workouts will be included, passive steps will not be included in the challenges.

If you have a mailing address in the United States or Canada where we can ship your gear you may participate fully in the Drive to Spring Fitness. If you don’t have a US or Canada mailing address, you may register for the challenge but will not receive gear.
We encourage all participants to complete their challenges from their home and to follow proper social distancing guidelines as outlined by the state you live in.
No, we encourage you to run, walk, bike, skip, MOVE! For the challenges we’ll be accepting any form of fitness because the challenge is measured in minutes—that means yoga, CrossFit, skiing, any type of fitness can count.
Don’t forget to start your fitness app for walking, as passive walking/steps don't count.

No, the challenges run from January 1 – March 31, 2021, so you will not need to re-register each month.
You can connect and sync any fitness app (i.e., MapMyFitness) or wearable (i.e., Garmin watch) to FitRankings. Or you can manually input your minutes by clicking "add activity" on the results leaderboard below, or by going to your FitRankings profile at FitRankings.com/me.
If you don’t use a fitness app or wearable and would like to upload a workout manually, you can input your fitness activities on FitRankings by logging into your account at. Manually adding an activity is not available through the iOS FitRankings app.

Passive walking are steps taken around the house, like walking from your couch to your refrigerator. In the spirit of deliberate fitness, passive walking is not counted toward this challenge. If you have a device that tracks passive walking you will see this data on your Fit Rankings personal profile page so participants who have personal daily step goals can still see this data even though it’s not counted toward the leaderboard for this challenge.

Fun prize contests and drawings will be happening on the TCM MNy Challenge Facebook group page. These will all be fun contests and drawings that are non-performance based.
Log on to Facebook (must have account). Search for TCM MNy Challenges group. Click “join group” and you’ll be prompted to answer questions to gain exclusive access to the group. Access will be granted within 2 business days.
The live leaderboard cannot, but at the end of the challenge we’ll email out sorted results in an Excel file.
At this time credits can’t be used for challenges. Race credits are issued through Race Roster and can only be used for registration completed through their technology platform. The Challenges are developed and delivered via an alternative technology partner, FitRankings.
At this time we don’t have the capability to give credits (towards tier status) or points for these challenges. We are working with our technology partners to solve this problem and will retroactively give credit for 2021 MNy Challenge participation if we can implement a solution.
