Feeling Like an Athlete Again

Dave Odalen survived a stroke in April 2011, but that didn’t stop him from running the Medtronic TC 1 Mile a year later and then surprising himself with a swift run at last October’s Medtronic TC 10 Mile.  Odalen shared his inspiring story with Twin Cities In Motion recently.

Remembering Johanna Olson

As many of you know, the Minnesota running community lost a well-known and well-loved member last week.  Wadena native Johanna Olson, a former top-ten finisher at the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon and a participant in the event last fall, succumbed to a 15-year-long battle with brain cancer last Thursday.  We at Twin Cities In Motion, join Johanna’s family, friends, and the rest of the Minnesota running community in mourning the loss of an energetic, cheerful and inspiring member of the running world.
