Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf won the women’s 800 meter race at the Cork City Sports International Meet in Ireland, and Gabriele Grunewald was first across the line in the women’s 1500 meter event at the Meeting Sport Solidierta in Lignano, Italy.  Both meets occurred on July 8.

Seven of the Team USA Minnesota runners will participate in the Life Time Fitness Torchlight 5K in Minneapolis on July 23.  Then on July 26, Heather Kampf will defend her title at the Ryan Shay Mile in Michigan, while Eric Finan and Jon Peterson will compete in the USA 7 Mile Championships at Bix in Iowa.

Team USA Minnesota’s Heather Kampf and Gabriele Grunewald will be among the participants in the women’s field at the third annual GNC Live Well Liberty Mile in downtown Pittsburgh on August 1.  Kampf is the two-time returning champion for the evening race while Grunewald will make her second appearance, having finished runner-up in 2012.
