Team USA Minnesota's Gabriele Grunewald has been named to the U.S. Team that will compete at the Glasgow British Athletics International Match in Scotland on January 25.  On the same day, Heather Kampf will run in the New Balance Games in New York City and Travis Burkstrand will be at the Terrier Invitational in Boston.

Grunewald (formerly Anderson) will run the 1500 meters and is the only U.S. representative who will compete in the women's race which will be held on the indoor track at the state-of-the-art Emirates Arena.  She has a best in the distance of 4:01.48.  The Glasgow International Match is the first event of the 2014 British Athletics Series.

Kampf will head to New York City on January 25 for the New Balance Games at the Armory where she will run the mile.  Kampf won the Bermuda Mile on the roads on January 17 and has a personal best in the road mile of 4:27.1.  On February 2, Kampf will compete in the 800 meters when she runs at the Camel City Indoor Meet in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.  Kampf has posted 2:00.04 in the 800.

In Boston on January 25, Burkstrand will run the mile at the Terrier Invitational which will be held at Boston University.  He has a best in the distance on the track of 4:06.68.  He most recently won the indoor mile at the Northwest Open at the University of Minnesota on January 18.  Burkstrand will then travel to Bloomington on February 1 for the Indiana University Relays where he will compete in the 800 meters.  He has run 1:47.56 in the 800.
