Thanks for keeping up with the Twin Cities In Motion staff with Mile Motivation Mondays! We've enjoyed sharing information with you from our friends and sponsors, and we hope that the posts have inspired you in some way to train hard. This race truly is The Most Beautiful Urban Marathon in America®, and it has been in the works for over 365 days. You'll have over 300,000 people watching you accomplish something great, over 5,000 volunteers present to make your race possible, and no matter how your time looks, you'll have an unforgettable experience and a memory to last a lifetime.
Seeing as the Medtronic Twin Cities Marathon is now in just a few short days, we wanted to remind you that we are not the only ones with the power to motivate. Runners are a unique crowd. You, the runner, can inspire others to begin or continue a life of health, wellness, and positive living! As you spend this last week tapering and mentally preparing, take a minute to think of someone who may not have a start line to be at this weekend that you might inspire to get fit! Please, remember to soak in the moments this weekend. Enjoy each aspect of the race, and don't forget to smile. We hope that the run is everything you want it to be.
