Eli Asch

Race Director

An endurance sports industry veteran, Eli joined Twin Cities In Motion in May of 2020 from the Sacramento Running Association, where he was Director of Race Operations and served as Race Director of the California International Marathon. During his tenure CIM was America’s fastest-growing major marathon and hosted two USATF marathon national championships. Prior to that he served as Logistics and Operations Manager for the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon. He also holds a MBA in Sports Business from San Diego State University and a BA in English from Whitman College, where he was captain of the cross country team.

When not working, Eli can be found running or hiking with his wife Leslie, walking his two ill-behaved but very cute rescue dogs around their Northeast Minneapolis neighborhood, or lining up interviews for his endurance events-focused podcast, Early Call Time. His decade-plus of industry experience has solidified his belief that running changes lives for the better and should be accessible to everyone, and also in events' unparalleled potential to impact their community positively through charitable giving, sustainability initiatives, and economic impact. He considers himself lucky to help Twin Cities In Motion fulfill that potential.

Jenny Borgman

She's run various other races, mud runs and an Ultra Ragnar which she says is her craziest running event she has ever done and is in a group for another Ragnar.

Jenny loves to be busy and can be found out running (of course), hiking on the SHT or locally, kayaking with her husband, snowshoeing and skiing in the winter, doing a Polar Plunge, snowmobiling with her 17 year old daughter, hanging out with their 2 dogs and cuddled up on the couch watching terrible (yes, she said terrible) kung fu movies with her husband.

She is excited to return to the event industry with a group that shares her passion for running and being active.

Outside of running, Alana enjoys hiking with her rescue Klee Kai Twila, traveling, trying new breweries, and cheering for the Zags basketball team. She is looking forward to exploring all of the outdoor activities MN has to offer this year!

Olivia Gadberry

Partnerships Coordinator

Originally from Forest Lake, Minnesota, Olivia spent her college years at the University of North Dakota. She recently graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and a minor in Leadership and came back to her home state, Minnesota. Both her appreciation and personal interest in event planning had her on the lookout for an internship that could teach her the ways of the event organization industry. She spent 4 months as TCM’s Volunteer & Registration Management Intern, until moving to a full-time position on the Partnerships Team. Although Olivia isn’t an endurance runner, the athlete in her knows that she fits right in at Twin Cities In Motion (and maybe will consider running, if Scott & Isaac can convince her!). Her duties include working as the primary contact for TCM’s partners/sponsors, creating sponsorship contracts, activating partnership entitlements and more.

Olivia has an energetic, bubbly personality and hates to be bored. When she finally gives herself time to relax between busy social and work lives, she can be found inside, cozied up with her cat, Layla, and a true crime book, or outside laying in the sun (depending on which season it is). She can’t wait to see what TCM has in store for her as she kicks off her career in the events industry.

Alxndr is an avid trail runner with no desire to run an “actual” marathon, but instead hopes to run a few 100+ milers in the near-ish future.

When Alxndr isn't creating graphics and illustrations, he can be found getting lost on a run, writing terrible indie rock songs, at a baseball game, remodeling his mid-century house with his partner, Sarah, or practicing animal sounds and singing "take me out to the ball game" with his daughter, Lucy.
